Bramble Bush Bay and Poole Harbour kayaking trips
Bramble Bush Bay is home to our Poole harbour-Brownsea island kayaking trips and our Old Harry Rocks kayaking adventure. This location offers us multiple choices on where to launch dependant on group abilities and the weather. Bramble Bush Bay is located at the end of Ferry road just before the Studland ferry. If you end up in the harbour you have gone to far.
There is parking available along the roadside and via the national trust car park before the ferry which is free for national trust members. Parking along the road is limited so we have early starts for this trip.
H2oadventures Old Harry's rock trip is the perfect way to experience the wonders of the Jurassic coast in all its glory. Home to an array of sea birds and wildlife you will have plenty to keep you amused and amazed as we head out to the UNESCO world heritage site of Old Harry's Rock.
We will meet at Bramble Bush Bay and get you ready for your Jurassic coast kayaking adventure. You will spend some time near the beach to teach you a few skills in our fleet of touring venture kayaks. Once you are ready we will head off from Poole Harbour and out into the bay and along the Jurassic coastline to Old Harry's Rock. You will be amazed at the natural wonder that has been carved by the sea over 1000s of years producing archways for us to kayak through or when the tide is out you can land and explore the rocks and all it contains. This trip lasts for 4 hours so please bring drinks with you along with a good summer hat and suncream. You wont get a better experience of Old Harry's rock than the kayaking way. £40pp
H2oadventures offers you the full Poole harbour Kayaking tour experience exploring in our fleet of Venture islay kayaks. During your kayaking trip starting from Studland you will take a trip along the shore line of this great harbour taking in the sights and sounds of the local wildlife that inhabits Poole harbour such as the Osprey, Deer and far to many species of birds that we will find during our trip.
You will get to kayak around the famous Brownsea island home to Enid Blyton’s Whispering Island, the 1907 birthplace of Robert Baden-Powell’s scouting movement. During our previous kayak trips we have been followed by the harbours very own seals and with the continuing sightings of dolphins you never know your luck.
Your Poole Harbour kayaking experience is a half day adventure and runs to the tides so please check times for each event. H2oadventures provides all the equipment Kayaks, Paddles, Buoyancy aids, Dry bags and a qualified British canoeing guide to make your day a special day. Please bring suitable clothing for the conditions including food and drink including a hot drink. A change of clothes is advisable just in case .
